Story
How fortunate the English have been hallmarking jewelry since the 1300s. For in those marks, we know this ring dates to the year 1892.
Unusually, it also has a registry mark although now mostly obscured. In 15k yellow gold, this three-stone ring holds two round faceted garnets and a diamond (.10 carats of garnets, a .04 carat diamond).
All three are gypsy set in recessed squares so that the tops of the stones rest flush with the setting. On each side of the shoulders lie carved gold details. This Edwardian antique ring remains in superb condition.
