Story
What a joy to behold...a true Georgian diamond ring. No look-alike, reproduction, no messy repairs, or lackluster condition.
Rose-cut diamonds lead the way to brilliance magnified. Yes, the foiling beneath within the closed-backed setting amplifies their reflection and refraction. All white and sparkling, each pops with personality.
Nine rose cuts form a cluster. The largest measures 4.5 mm in diameter; the surrounding diamonds average 3.5 mm. Two petite ones complement the sides.
Since their depth cannot be determined, an estimated diamond weight isn't possible. However, this antique beauty has the look of 1.20 carats. Since rose cuts are flat-backed, it may be assumed the actual weight may be less.
As characteristic of the era, the diamonds are set into silver (the only white metal in use or known at the time). The remainder of the setting is 14k yellow gold.
In tripartite formation, the shoulders then merge to an adorned shank that transitions to smooth at the back.
Important: This ring should not be in water for an extended period of time nor exposed to other liquids, cleaning products, or harsh chemicals. If considering it as an engagement ring, please keep this in mind.
