An oval, unheated, natural deep red ruby rests gypsy set within 18k gold. At .40 carats in weight, it is nestled between two old mine cut diamonds. Their total weight is .14 carats, white and bright at G-H color and VS clarity so gleaming and clear.
An arched top graduates down with four linear decorative bands incised on each shoulder. Stepping down further, the remaining band is highly polished. It is fully hallmarked for the year 1885, 136 years ago!
