Story
Chunky, funky and all around fiery fab, these old mine brilliant cut diamonds will make you a fan for life (if you aren't already!)
Seventeen of these antique diamonds line the edges and form a short stripe down the middle of the 14k yellow gold marquise shaped ring.
How do you identify this diamond cut? Look for an irregular perimeter, not quite square or rectangular and not quite round. Also note that they are almost always deep and if viewing with a loupe or very close up, they have an open culet.
Translation - in the diamond's center, there appears to be a tiny "window" - a reflection from the flat area at the base of the diamond (no point as in modern round diamonds).
A total carat weight of these beauties is .73 carats with a color of G-I and a clarity of SI1-3 (with one at an L-M color). The marquise shape elongates the finger.
