Story
The English created a type of classic ring around the turn of the 20th century.
The form utilized platinum for the top area and 18k yellow gold for the remainder. Always in diamonds, they formed clusters in various geometric shapes with the surfaces dotted with petite diamonds. Most often they were hallmarked 18ct and Plat as is this ring.
This low profile antique ring holds 9 old single cut diamonds in two sizes for a total of .20 carats. Forming a scalloped edged square, the surface shimmers with no one the wiser where the diamonds begin and the platinum ends.
Textured, mille grain and beaded edges swirl around the surface, adding an extra special touch to this engagement or right hand, low profile ring.
