Story
The later years of the Art Deco movement emphasized horizontal orientation. At times referred to as Art Moderne or Streamline Modern, aerodynamic lines, curved corners and references to the sea were emphasized.
No wonder this 1.3 carat cut corner rectangular aquamarine was used as the main focus in this ring. The gem, pale blue in color is set into a 14k white gold bezel with rounded corners.
Long in shape, the horizontal white gold mount is appointed on the front with stylized scroll forms and broad curves resembling ocean waves. Filigree work decorates the sides and under gallery with open work of broad arcs and lineation.
