Gorgeous 10k rose gold complements two favored gems from the nineteenth century. The front of the ring takes on a modified navette shape with open work starring a .25 carat round faceted garnet and five graduated natural freshwater seed pearls ranging in diameter from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm.
Sensuously wrapping around the perimeter in the form of a crescent moon, the pearls are seated in rose gold coronet mounts. On the opposite side the garnet “star” stands out with contrasting color.
Shoulders akin to classical columns taper with a series of incised accent marks. To the interior in hand engraved script is the phrase “GBP to EGH”.
