The crescent moon image evokes a variety of feelings in all of us. images of stars, the sun, moon and planets, comets and other heavenly bodies seem almost as much part of our art and imagery as language itself.
Yellow gold of 14k is the medium utilized to express the dedication to the feminine moon goddess. The icon is also used to illustrate renewal.
Beautifully crafted, the piece is embellished with five graduated diamonds, total weight of .40 carats (H-I color; SI2-3 clarity). The glittering diamonds range from .05 carats to .12 carats. Each is placed within an individual crown setting of yellow gold. The scalloped perimeter is nicely appointed with golden globes.
