This small charm is as lovely as can be with its true-to-life attention to detail. Double-sided, the front is adorned with white enamel, the other all gold with twisted gold resembling a rope.
Both have natural gemstones showing through. Two diamonds, an emerald, and a ruby are placed around the life buoy. It is realism in miniature.
In 18k gold, it dates to circa 1900 and deserves to be thrown to another (or yourself) to recall that particular time when we were saved. Petite in scale, powerful in meaning. Suitable for wear on a bracelet or on a chain as a pendant.
