Story
An unusual double pointed garnet of .55 carats finds itself the center of attention in an antique 10k yellow gold ring. The round fancy cut garnet is prong set within a glittering surround of six single cut diamonds, total weight of .12 carats (I-J color; VS2-SI1 clarity).
Each diamond is placed within a modified cutdown buttercup collet of yellow gold emulating the petals of a blossoming flower. Trumpet shaped shoulders appointed with a series of “fingers” segue into an incised design at an oblique angle.
Completing the Edwardian ring is a smooth unadorned slender shank.
