Green tourmaline has been mistaken for an emerald… as is apparent in the ring featured. The 3.5 carat gem has been polished in an emerald step cut manner with a flat table and beveled sides.
Just right in size and proportion of 15.2 by 8 by 5 mm, a narrow bezel of 14k yellow gold outlines the stone and emphasizes its sensual configuration with truncated corners. An open work gallery of Rococo-like "C" scrolls with ornate curves. All in 14k yellow gold.
