Story

Pieces from the firm of Jones & Woodland, especially rings are sought after and are highly collectible. This example features a truly lovely white diamond…full of fire and white brilliance.

The .80 carat old European cut diamond (G-H color; VS clarity) sparkles within a six-sided platinum bezel accented with delicate incised edges.

Beautifully intricate filigree work in 14k yellow gold stands on its own merits without detracting from the solitaire diamond.

During the nineteenth century the unlikely city of Newark, New Jersey became a centralized location for the manufacture of fine jewelry. One of those, the Jones & Woodland Co. designed and made platinum and 18k gold jewelry associated with the phrase “the finest quality colored gemstones”.
