Story
Art Deco dynamics are personified in this circa 1925 platinum-topped 14k yellow gold ring. A standout lozenge shaped matrix points you in all the right directions with stark geometric forms and color contrast.
Centermost in a round bezel a brilliant cut diamond of .20 carats flashes with a fiery burn (H-I; clarity SI1). A border of twelve (12) scarce French cut diamonds, total of .48 carats (F-G color; VS clarity) punctuated by four (4) faceted amethysts of .12 carats at each of the cardinal points surrounds the center diamond.
All diamonds and gems are set in platinum-topped gold. A modern shank of 14k yellow gold has been added to match the pierced under-gallery of yellow gold with split shoulders highlighting the slender shank.
