Story

Most people are attracted to an engagement ring because of personal aesthetics and individual taste. However, at times there are certain rings which have a universal appeal. The platinum ring featured here falls into that limited category with ease.

One is immediately struck by the overall feminine appearance of this circa 1915 finger ring. While its details are quite delicate, the platinum metal gives the piece an singular amount of structural integrity. Carefully designed, a .62 carat old European cut diamond (H color; VS2 clarity) has been chosen as the focal point and placed upon a pierced and open work platinum setting.

Enhanced with six (6) single cut diamonds of an additional .08 carats set in sensually curved forms throughout, mille grain detailing and fine patterning provide textural interest and augment visual appeal.

This ring is accompanied by an EGL USA certificate. The main diamond was removed for accurate weight and grade with a retail replacement value of $4120.

Date: Circa 1915.
