Story

With lots of scintillation, flash and drama, this Art Deco platinum ring could easily become your signature look. With a configuration much like that of the halo ring of today, a total diamond weight of 1.15 carats expands with the platinum work to what would be the diameter of a 7 carat diamond. At the center is an old European cut diamond of .65 carats with a G color and VS1 clarity.

The mille grained platinum bezel and surrounding detail magnifies the visual appearance of the central gem. Placed in a surround form are ten (10) additional old European cut diamonds of an estimated .50 carats fiery and luminous in their platinum mount with lace-like design and angled openwork characterizing the under galley and shoulders.

This ring is accompanied by an EGL USA certificate for the center diamond which was removed for certification. Retail replacement for the center diamond only is $5050.

Date: Circa 1920.
