Pale salmon colored hues flash irreverently with the radiant golden peach shade of this gloriously large and vibrant imperial topaz ring of 15k yellow gold. The 10 mm by 11 mm cushion cut solitaire with an estimated weight of a generous 3.75 carats has been foiled and set closed back in a characteristic yellow gold rub over pinched collet. Note those charming little pinches of gold around the border.
Smashing in its presentation, the Georgian era ring has a smooth bulbous “basket” setting underneath to allow room for the gemstone and foiling. A plain understated shank completes the ring. Age never looked so vibrant or so fresh!
Important: This ring should not be in water for an extended period nor exposed to any other liquids, cleaning products or harsh chemicals. If considering as an engagement ring, please keep this in mind.
Date: Circa 1800.
