Story

It is with pleasure to present the most breathtaking rose cut diamond we have ever introduced…1.3 carats with J color and SI1 clarity. As the name suggests, the overall shape resembles the petals of rose bud. Unlike the modern brilliant cut which can have what some refer to as a harsh brilliance, the rose cut has a delicacy and soft and captivating, almost filtered brilliance which brings out the femininity of a diamond. Please note the height of the beautiful gem and the double row of facets which lead to the apex of the gem.

This vintage cut has become the choice for a number of today’s celebrities to grace their engagement rings. Set in a simple yet sophisticated rhodium over 18k yellow gold and platinum mounting, each side is enhanced with an old European cut diamond in a mille grain accented lozenge bezel and a brace of single cut diamonds (a total of four) of an additional .06 carats.

This ring is accompanied by an EGL USA certificate only for the main diamond which has been removed for accurate grading and has a retail replacement value of $10,460 for the diamond alone.

Date: Circa 1910.
