The centered almandine garnet is foiled and has closed back construction with a basket weave or sun burst pattern ornamenting the rose gold. Please note the typical scroll motifs flanking the sides of the closed back connecting it the shank. On each side two rose cut diamonds (four in all) are set in the characteristic silver which then segues into a rose gold shank with an incised vertical column and a stylized leaf motif.

Date: Circa 1760.

Condition: Fair to good; evidence of a previous resizing; one diamond now has an open back; a bit of wear to all bezels of the stones; one rose cut diamond replaced; ring slightly out of round.
