Story

An exceptional diamond with any icy white shimmering hue shares a stage with luscious channel set rubies in a circa 1930 Art Deco ring of 15k yellow gold and platinum. A central old oval cut diamond of an estimated 1.63 carats (H-I color; SI1 clarity due to one tiny carbon spot almost under the bezel only visible with magnification and tilting the ring to an angle) in a platinum bezel seems to grab all the attention.

Nevertheless, wait…a corona of twenty (20) fine channel set natural rubies sets a fire of intense color in pursuit of that honored position. A yellow gold border and open work under galley provide a substantial platform for the precious gems. A divided shank of 15k yellow gold is embellished with four (4) additional old single and rose cut accent diamonds set in platinum topped gold in a harmonious balance of fire and ice.

The period ring is accompanied by an EGL-UGS (European Gemological Laboratory-Universal Gemological Services) certificate for the main diamond only with a replacement value of $15,150.

Date: Circa 1930.

Being as honest as possible about the items we represent for sale is our ultimate goal! Our pricing is industry recognized as fair and equitable with value as the byword.
