Story

The distinctive polychromatic enamel work and fluidity of line clearly defines this 14k yellow gold pendant as designed and crafted by the firm of Krementz & Co. of Newark, New Jersey. Pieces from this American Art Nouveau jewelry dynasty are highly collectible.

Nature as model decidedly influenced this evocative pendant of foliate design. A three element leaf form ornamented with hues of pale green, gold and cream Basse taille enamel is framed by a sensuous curve of stamens. A brace of baroque pearls as buds and a dog tooth pearl as pendant drop add the requisite rhythmic content to the dynamic period piece. A later date 10k yellow gold rolo chain accompanies the pendant.
