Story

Accolades and applause to the jeweler who set an early 20th century near colorless (H) old European cut diamond of 1.67 carats and VS1 clarity into a later 20th century platinum mount. Incorporating sixteen (16) single cut diamonds of various size with a total estimated diamond weight of .20 carats as additional gems and a mix of six natural and synthetic sapphires, the mille grain ornamented platinum mount certainly deserves a nod of the head in deference to the style of Art Deco. The total estimated diamond weight for the ring is 1.87 carats of scintillating brilliance.

In homage to that period, the faceted sapphires have been shaped to fit asymmetrical heptagons (polygons with seven sides) accented each shoulder with color and geometry. The entire band is engraved with a delicate ornamental wheat sheaf motif, the symbol of Ceres, the Roman goddess of prosperity and fruitfulness and is most feminine on the hand.

Accompanied by gemological lab certificate (see "More Details").
