Story
Capture the evening sky and reverie upon the moon and stars wearing this moonstone and diamond bangle bracelet.
Antique and in near-mint condition, nine graduated-in-size moonstones grace the top arch of this sublime jewel. Subtle in coloration, the eye catches intense blues as well as those with hints of white and gray.
Each is surrounded by rose-cut diamonds for a regal look. Reflecting and refracting the adularescence of the moonstones, the combination makes an ethereal tableau.
Hinged at the side, and with a near-hidden clasp opposite, the sides and back area were designed in what is termed, a gate form. So-called for it resembles a garden gate, this style was popular particularly in England during the later 1800s and into the 1920s.
