Story
Calling up images of Grecian gold, Etruscan finery, or Roman adornment, intricately patterned pairs of bracelets gleam with textured glory.
Two matched oval, hinged bangle bracelets date to circa 1870. A time when interest in hordes of archaeological discoveries from ancient days led to revival styles in fashion and jewelry and all the decorative arts, they are designed to be worn one on each wrist.
In 14k gold, with an 18k gold wash or bloom, their front surfaces are covered in intricate applied twisted wire work and decorative elements.
Each back edge is embellished with a wire "wave" pattern. The facing edges are also patterned so that no matter what angle these are viewed when worn, the eye catches the exceptional details.
These beauties are oval, nearly invisibly hinged, and utilize a push button clasp release.
NOTE: These are for a small wrist only, 6 inches or less!
