In 14k yellow gold retains their Victorian back-to-front ear wires. The standard for most of American and European earrings for several hundred years, these are threaded through the ear from the back to the front, rather than the more common way today. With just a little practice, they are easy to slip on and off.

Each front of the openwork domes holds an 8 petal gold flower with textured leaves and a highly polished sphere at the tip. Large and statement making, they have a nice weight but are comfortable on the ear.

Condition: Very good, some old silver solder on both earrings at the connection points of of the ear wires to the main section, and the flowers to their base. Visible with close inspection.
