Story
Particularly fine, these memorial themed garnet gold earrings balance the fine line between jewelry for mourning and sentiment and those of sheer wonderful creations to wear and behold.
Up close, the words "In Memory Of" emblazon the surrounds of the garnets. But when worn, these words blend with the black enamel and gold to form intricate patterns.
Victorian in date circa 1870, the words "In Memory Of" stand out in gold that is surrounded and encased in black enamel. Diagonal patterns and petite gold stars, along with rays of gold emanating outward from the oval centers, create a gorgeous tableau of design.
The focal point is two claret-hued oval cabochon garnets of 4.8 carats in total weight.
The surmounts utilize more enamel and gold in a star and scrolls in an oval scalloped shape. The earrings are designed in 14k rose gold.
