Story
If you look closely at many briolettes, you will be amazed at the number of facets. What is a facet? It is a tiny flat surface that is polished on a gem to reflect and refract light.
A typical round diamond has about 58 of these minute flat surfaces. Briolettes? There is a range but many fine ones can have over 150 or more.
In this exceptional amethyst briolette, there are well over 170 facets for this 38 carat teardrop. Its hues are in the pale lilac family but given the myriad of surfaces, it captures the light with even the most subtle of movements. Soft colors and glittering surfaces create a most sensuous drop for suspension from a chain.
With a 14k gold bale that will fit many fine to medium chains.
