Story

The Newark, New Jersey manufacturing firm of Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss (1907 until 1956 when acquired by Krementz & Co.) was known for its extraordinary cufflinks and fine jewelry. In fact, this company supplied a surprising amount of jewelry to Tiffany & Co.

This fabulous 14k yellow gold link bracelet personifies fine craftsmanship and the then current trend of Art Nouveau design of the times. Flexibly joined links incorporate three flowerhead clusters and gold leaf motif spacers.

Each cluster is composed of seven round faceted deep purple amethysts varying in size from 6 to 6.4 mm in diameter. Set in yellow gold bezels, the twenty-one amethysts have a total weight of 18.6 carats.

A fine gold belcher safety chain and spring lock clasp complete the vintage bracelet.
