Story
Visions of neoclassical earrings dance with the grace and delicacy of a prima ballerina. Perfect harmony and exacting symmetry take pink sapphires, seed pearls and 18k yellow gold to new heights.
Elaborate openwork creates an airy femininity with simple scrolls and a proliferation of natural half seed pearls. From a pearl-set flower motif surmount the ample openwork allows for teardrop elements and Rococo-like “C” forms. The earrings have golden globe accents and incorporate six (6) natural pink sapphires of a total weight of .75 carats, nine (9) natural half seed pearls and one (1) cultured pearl in the pair. Stylized floral foliage in decidedly symmetrical and delicate order with simplicity characterizes this pair of French designed Edwardian earrings.
Did you know that the French worked in 18k gold almost exclusively if working in gold? That has been their standard for centuries with an elaborate and complex system of hallmarking that dates back 1275!
