Story

Universal appeal, this engagement or anytime ring lights up with the elegance Edwardian jewelers imbued in their creations. The tensile strength of platinum (the metal of choice during that period) enabled these designers to impart a sense of delicacy to their visions. Often equating lightness and fragility with femininity, pierced and open metal work was one technique that achieved that effect.

Here we see that method extolling the virtues of an old European cut diamond of an estimated .70 carats (H-I color; VS2 clarity) centered within a bounty of heart patterns and curvilinear designs of platinum with mille grain work accenting turns and twists. An additional four (4) old European cut diamonds lend their total estimated diamond weight of .06 carats to an already fabulous ring from the Edwardian years. A ring that any woman would consider their dream ring, white fireworks of brilliance and classically chic wearable design.

Date: Circa 1915.
