Antique Georgian Gold Locket Ring
Hidden compartments and tiny secrets. This Georgian antique locket ring once contained a locket of plaited hair. Now it can harbor a secret of your own. In 14k yellow gold, the plain locket top click up. Its hollow construction boasts scrolling deeply chased floral motif along each side of the shank. Most likely originally a man's ring, it is suitable for either sex today. Engraved inside in script, "BE".
Date: Circa 1820.
Measurements: 5/16 of an inch (0.7 cm) in length north to south on the hand and rises 1/16 of an inch (0.2 cm) high off the finger. Weighs 3.5 grams (2.3 dwt).
Ring Size: Currently a size US 12-1/2 (UK Y-1/2; Euro 21.75; 69 mm; Japan 26) and easily sized to fit most. Ring sizing information.
Condition: Excellent; interior plaited hair now missing. General light wear; some interior patina.
