Sumptuous Antique Austro Hungarian Pendant Earrings
Jewelry made in the Austro-Hungarian region has become one of today’s hot collectibles. Frequently ornate and this style was traditionally made using gilt metal, paste, enamel and even semiprecious stones.
Quite three-dimensional in its rendering, this resplendent five element drop earring with two side dangles. Although these silver gilt earring appear rather weighty they are not unduly so and do not pull down the lobes of most wearers. With their multiplicity of amethyst pastes and tiny natural seed pearls (untested but assumed natural), they are fit for wear from runway to expressway.
