Art Nouveau Moonstone Diamond Ring

$1,050 USD Item 12327

The wondrous rhythmic lines that so typifies Art Nouveau is apparent in this 14k yellow gold ring. Organic in form, the twisted sculptural band, so seems to flow and swirl with the dynamic movement of life.

When viewed head on, the matrix of the ring appears to be a stylized surrealistic version of some species of amphibian with blue moonstones eyes of about 4.5 mm each. The nose is comprised of a square configuration of four 14k gold smaller square embellished with a raised perimeter and engraving and centered with a deep oval old mine cut diamond of about 25 points, J-K in color and SI clarity. A trio of blended golden orbs appoints the north and south of the square “bezel”. This ring is a lovely example of Art Nouveau naturalism.
