Karlan & Bleicher Vintage Diamond Ring
Karlan & Bleicher, Inc. is a prestigious New York jewelry company founded in 1926. At one time it was known as one of the largest jewelry manufacturers in the world as well as having quite a reputation for invention and development of numerous jewelry fabrication innovations.
Crafted in 14k white gold, this charming post war vintage ring sports a round brilliant diamond of approximately .33 carats (color H-I; clarity VS1-2) prong set within a square faced mount with a lightly scalloped perimeter. The central diamond is flanked by four (4) round brilliant cut diamonds of about .30 points in unique “y” shaped settings. Lovely curves accentuate the femininity of this delightful diamond ring with an estimated total diamond weight of .63 points. A beautiful ring within a reasonable budget.
Measurements: 1/4 of an inch (0.6 cm) in width north to south on the hand and rises ¼ of an inch (0.7 cm) off the finger. This ring has a weight of 3.3 grams (2.1 dwt).
Ring Size: US 7 (UK N-1/4; Euro 17.25, 54.5 mm) and can easily be sized to accommodate almost any hand.
Hallmarks: 14k and maker's mark of "KB" for Karlan & Bleicher, Inc.
Date & Origin: Circa 1950 – 1960 and is American in origin
