Filigree Art Deco Diamond Ring
With an emphasis on style and design, this mid 1920s Art Deco diamond ring relies on its luscious 18k white gold filigree setting to accentuate the central brilliant cut diamond of about .15 points (H-I color, VS1-2 clarity). Adding to the diamond flash are four (4) more diamonds (two on each side) of approximately .12 points flanking the main stone for a total estimated diamond weight of .28 carats.
Sparing no expense, the entire mount has been embellished with beautifully detailed appointments. The top and the under gallery display an open work trellis of white gold. Even the tapered shoulders were not set aside and exhibit the jeweler’s eye for decoration. This period ring imparts a lush sophisticated look without extracting a heavy price from the pocket.
