Victorian Charm: Dangling Heart Ring
Delicate and quite feminine, this late Victorian antique ring is set with a pair of natural half pearls that flank a cabochon of natural turquoise. The luminosity of the creamy pearls and the blue of the turquoise are further enhanced by the warmth of the 15k yellow gold heart shaped charm that dangle ¼ of an inch (0.6 cm). The bamboo-like gold setting has been fabricated into the configuration of a double infinity knot motif connected to open shoulders that conclude with a smooth band.
The ring measures ¼ of an inch (0.6 cm) in width and has a weight of 2.5 grams. In very good condition with faint evidence of old resizing.
Size: US 4-3/4 (British I-½; Euro 15.50, 49 mm) and can be sized.
Dates to circa 1870. A delightful ring for a young woman or a petite hand.
