It is a treat to see how many of these hand motif pieces started out in life.
For often they have been converted into pendants or rings. Many hand motif clasps are original, and others have also been converted.
This charming and poised hand has a tiny diamond "ring" on its index finger. The cuff of the sleeve resembles fancy lace or pleats with crevices accented in rose gold. It is also adorned with a "bracelet" of a small ruby and two tiny natural half seed pearls.
Hinged, the hand can be lifted just slightly to aid in placing this upon any fabric. Its original barley twist stickpin is still attached, this tests at 10k gold. Textured and graceful, the hand is 18k yellow gold.
