How can this be if our collections are old, or even older? But there is a good reason.

We don't purchase in lots or large groups. And being truly fussy, while we look through tens, hundreds, or even thousands of pieces of jewelry during, say, a major buying excursion. Only a few make the grade.
Walk around with us, and you will note one important accessory always visible: a jeweler's loupe. In continual use while vetting jewelry, it is an invaluable tool to spot reproductions, repairs, chips, replaced gems and diamonds, and a host of clues to the history of a piece of jewelry.
Working one by one may not be the smartest way to work, but it depends on your viewpoint. Our viewpoint is to offer the best in its class, type, and price range. Authenticity, aesthetics, workmanship, and especially condition, that is what it is all about.
