Antique diamonds the way they are meant to be! Every one just like you, a one-of-a-kind personality, with its distinct shape, size, and look.
This is what antique diamonds look like for each was lovingly hand cut and faceted to maximize the original crystal. No perfectly round and precision, machined cut diamonds here.
These earth mined diamonds form two rows surrounding a natural hot pink red ruby. Slightly convex, the surface of the dome creates a soft silhouette. Dating to the 18th century, the top is silver, as was correct for the period with most diamonds, but in modern times, has been gilded with high carat gold.
Each stone is set into a well of gold over silver and closed backed and foiled beneath for added radiance and reflection.
The antique bi-part shank still shows off its original surface details, curlicues, and linear patterns. It has been added to the top, the original likely worn away from time and caresses.
