The ethereal polychromatic enamel work and fluidity of line clearly define this necklace as Art Nouveau. It was expertly designed and crafted by the firm of Krementz & Co. of Newark, New Jersey.
An outstanding example from the Art Nouveau period this pendant necklace utilizes translucent enamel, lotus, and floral motifs, graceful forms, and natural freshwater pearls.
Of special note is the delicate coloration of the enamel, from the palest spring green to pinky pearlescence.
Five natural freshwater pearls dot the top element, the center of the lotus, and bottom dangle, the entire necklace and chain in 14k yellow gold.
