So carefully constructed, this exquisite mother of pearl and sterling silver pill box is a tactile delight.
Two gorgeous thick slices of mother of pearl were chosen so that each side mirrors the other. Two upward undulating areas of mother of pearl both are arranged so the diagonal reaches from the bottom right toward the upper middle.
Scrolling, chased designs cavort around the entire perimeters, top and bottom. Between, reeded bands run horizontally.
This Edwardian beauty is so carefully thought out, even the interior bottom upright back edge in a "lamb's tongue" shape.
Once this may have served as a snuff box, but today perfect for your box collection, dresser top, or pill box.
