Story
Slip on a bouquet of flowers arranged in subtlely colored rose gold.
Oval in shape, this 14k gold bangle is enlivened by raised flower patterns around the entire perimeter. Viewed closely, they resemble whorls in a seashell's interior with texture and highlight creating a gorgeous surface.
This bracelet will fit a small to medium wrist. If you have smaller hands but a larger wrist, it will also work. Edwardian in date, and American in origin, it is from the noted firm of J. Wanamaker.
History: J. Wanamaker's accomplishments and vision cannot be encapsulated in just a few sentences. He was a marketing genius and innovator and was first thought of as the originator of the concept of the department store. Just research the "Grand Court" or the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia to witness the grandeur of the store. Later locations expanded to New York.
He is credited with the concept of the price tag, and marketing in a big way in newspapers. His employees enjoyed free medical care, education, and pensions well before this standard came into practice.
For fun, research the Wanamaker organ, still known as the largest pipe organ in the world.
As if this were not enough, he was Postmaster General and known as a generous philanthropist.
