Story
P.McL. to J.C. 19/7/17 is the inscription hand engraved on the inside of this cherished ring.
A loving gift from one to another on July 19, 1917 (the Brits place the day before the month). Further, hallmarks tell us this ring was fabricated in Birmingham two years earlier, in 1915.
Created in 18k gold, with fine, colorful and fiery Australian opals and accent diamonds, the ring is designed horizontally in a three-stone configuration to span the finger.
Its all in the color play and these opals flash and pop with the best of them.
Carved gold decorates the gallery and each shoulder with rich details that provide light and shadow. Gift this to another, or as a special treat to yourself.
