Story
Georgian in design and artisanship, this unusual cluster ring resembles a snowflake falling in the sunlight.
A bevy of old mine-cut diamonds is a glittering, flittering hexagonal prism that mimics the shape of many a snowflake with their eight arms.
The fetching central oval, old mine cut, certainly captivates the eye as the locus of the top. Eighteen more diamonds add their merriment to this 18th century finger bling.
Characteristic of the time, each stone has been set in silver where the metal has been burnished up and around the sides, then pinched with tiny ridges. Closed backed with foiling beneath the diamonds, their lively sparkle has maintained these long years.
Entirely hand-made, the ring holds an aura only time can impart. The soft and dazzling glint of each diamond is indescribable.
An 18k later gold shank divides on each shoulder with curled tips where it joins the main snowflake.
