Story
So slim, so colorful, and so wearable, this 14k yellow gold treasure was designed and crafted by one of the mighty Newark jewelry houses, Sloan & Co.
The Enamel guilloché decoration gives this Edwardian locket its distinctive look. Intricately patterned gold lies beneath the azure clear enamel.
Rays shoot out from the center with scalloped waves flowing outward. The translucent enamel of a heavenly cerulean blue covers the incised composition to provide depth and magnify the visual effect.
A border of opaque white enamel emphasizes the configuration and adds to the arrangement.
The interior still retains one frame and plastic cover. Another photo could be inserted under the lip on the right side.
The back of the locket is high polished gold. Its thin profile makes this ideal for daily wear. The Sloan mark resides on the interior upper center.
