Story

It is with great admiration for the original creators that we present this Victorian Etruscan revival brooch par excellence.

Today, only a few jewelers worldwide attempt or can reproduce metal work such as those employed here. Consummate skill, energy, time, and exactitude are required for these intricate techniques.

Of the highest standards, this 18k gold, lapis lazuli, and natural seed pearl brooch instill nothing but awe. Most of the surface details are on a scale of a millimeter or less.

Granulation (tiny beads of gold adhered to the surface without the use of solder), twisted wire work, applied plain gold wire, all in astounding variations and patterns, cover the surface. In fact, the reverse is as sumptuous as the front.

A generous sized lapis lazuli sphere of 15 mm in diameter punctuates one end. Note the superb gold asymmetrical cup in which it sits.

Weighty, this can be worn on a heavy coat, jacket, or sweater. Jump back to the 6th century BCE without the need of a time machine.
