Story
Lapis lazuli has a notable blue hue that Vincent Van Gogh hoped to achieve in his masterful work “The Starry Night”. Rich in hue sometimes with subtle bands of dark violet and golden flecks, this gem has the characteristics recalling the night sky.
Rings highlight the beauty of the stone and this one has minute flecks of gold color (pyrite). As a solitaire, a marquise cabochon of 2.6 carats presides over this vintage ring.
Powerful with an aesthetic all its own, it is placed in a scalloped shaped top and setting of 14k gold. It is paired with mostly white gold filigree that is accented with two rose gold flowers and green gold ribbon motif.
