Glittering puffy surfaces of 18k yellow gold contrast with the curvaceous tendrils and twists of serpentine and floral shapes in these day night antique earrings.

Formed of repousse work, gold sheets are pressed out from the back by the jeweler’s hand in a myriad of forms. Hollow in the center, it makes for light and comfortable earrings, with great visual power.

Four almandine pinkish purple garnet cabochons emphasize both the day and night drops. Each is set closed backed and foiled beneath for an added glow to their inner depths.

Take the drops off or leave them long and dangling for that daylight to candlelight effect. The surmount element starts with flower-like elements, more curves, and flares, with delicious sculptural vivacity and more of the same for the suspended drops.
