Story
With an original receipt as beautiful as the ring, this dainty from 1922 cost 9 Great British Pounds back in the day.
A scalloped edge diamond cluster ring holds an old cushion cut diamond at its center surrounded by single cuts. A total of .28 carats creates a petite ring for your engagement or right hand.
White to the eye, and glassy clear, their color range is G-I, and clarity VS2-SI1.
In platinum topped 18k yellow gold, what a treasure and rare treat to offer it with its original ornate receipt with stamp, date of January 6, 1922, and signature from Bo T. of R. Jay Jewellers formerly of London & Brighton, England.
We love the exceptional graphics, artwork, impressive size and "strictly cash" notation at the bottom left of the receipt. Guess Amex hadn't quite been a thing in the 20's.
Note: We are still research what Bo T. means so please chime in if you know! Box for illustration purposes and not included.
