Redolent, gold, Georgian in date, almandine garnets, pansy flowers and the one word...earrings. Is there any reason to go on?
Seven hand faceted garnets, the color of a rich port wine, are foil backed and set into crimped collet mounts of warm 10k yellow gold. Rays of light are captured by the stones and then are softly sent outward.
The reverse’s surfaces are smooth and silken in feel, caressed by a patina only time can afford to give. These wondrous ear bobs may have been a part of a more complex piece of jewelry, but they easily stand alone on their own merits.
Always thinking of you…
