Story
Napoleonic in date around 1830, these exceptional French aquamarine day night earrings are a pleasure to present and even better to experience first-hand and wear!
Created in 18k yellow gold repoussé work, each is set with eight oval faceted natural aquamarines in the palest, subtle blues hues.
The surmounts feature one aquamarine, and the removable drops seven in graduated sizes.
Shell, fleur de lis, or puffy claw motifs in bright yellow gold contrast the gemstones and are placed throughout these Georgian earrings.
Light as a feather (as expected for the period) they are a rare survivor with their tops still intact. Remove the dangle and wear only the surmounts, or go full elegance with the tops and drops.
Earrings with day night construction are always a continual favorite. Ram's head hallmarks are correct for the period, their use started in 1819.
